He then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Tennessee in 1981, followed by his Master of Science (MSc) in Orthodontics degree from the University of Tennessee in 1983.

Cooper W. Sandusky III, DDS, MS, attended the University of Tennessee, and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1981. In addition, he received a Master of Science (MSc) in Orthodontics degree from the University of Tennessee in 1983. Dr. Sandusky III is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Southern Association of Orthodontists, the Tennessee Association of Orthodontists, the Memphis Association of Orthodontists, the Tweed Orthodontic Foundation, the American Dental Association, the Tennessee Dental Association, and the Memphis Dental Society. Prior to dental school, he acquired his undergraduate education at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Dr. Sandusky III dedicates his spare time to his family: wife, five children, and eight grandchildren. He enjoys outdoor activities, spending time at the lake in the summer, waterfowl hunting in the winter, and playing golf.  He is also involved in leading a Bible study at a halfway house for people who have just been released from prison.
